THE BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

The amazing Alina (this wasn't meant to be alliteration but we'll roll with it) tagged me to do this post. I jumped at the chance to do this, because I am all for helping new bloggers and recognising bloggers that are killing it!

So for those that don't know what this is, here are the rules:

Thank the blogger who nominated you and link to their blog.
Briefly explain how your blog started.
Give two pieces of advice to bloggers just starting out.
Select 15 bloggers you want to tag and give the award to - and then let them know.

How my blog started: Surprisingly this isn't the first blog I ever made, but I never kept at the previous one, and then I didn't like it at all. In July 2016, I decided to start again from scratch, so at the beginning of August, Millennial Rants was created.

Two pieces of advice for new bloggers: I think my first piece of advice for new bloggers would be to not compare your blog and how 'successful' you think it is compared to bigger bloggers. I think a lot of people get a little bummed out when they realise they aren't getting anywhere near as many views and interaction as other bloggers. However, it's probably because they have been at it a lot longer and know what they are doing.
My second piece of advice would be to use social media! Use it to promote your posts. Use it to build your 'brand'. Use it to connect with other bloggers. I think one reason why I have actually managed to post weekly (and pretty much twice every week) since starting again in August is because I have made friends with people that blog too. Sometimes it can be quite hard if people don't understand what you're doing and why, so having friends that do the same is really nice!

The bloggers I would like to nominate are:
